Sunday Afternoon

Well, the family and I went to see Zach Grienke pitch against Tom Glavin today at Kauffman Stadium. The Royals could not get anything going against the Mets. They lost 5-2. The guys in blue just didn't ever get a good read on what Tom was throwing all day.

The kids and I did enjoy our day however. We were in the shade and the kids clapped at the right times and yelled when prompted to yell. They are growing up to be great fans. While leaving, I asked Zac if he wanted to see a Chiefs game someday. He responded: "No". I'll remind him of that later in life!

Well, to celebrate Jen's promotion, we are going to KC Masterpiece tonight down on the Plaza. We're going to let Zac wake up from his nap and then take off for dinner. I wish you could enjoy it with us!
