Getting lost in the house

Hello all,

Jennifer keeps losing me in the house... Never before have I been able to slip away and play hide and seek, but I can now...

All kidding aside, there is one drawback to our new home. Jennifer and I lose track of one another from time to time. It starts out simple enough. Jennifer will start a conversation with me from the other room while I am working in the kitchen. We will continue this conversation for a period of time and then the conversation stream will close. It is at this time I may leave the kitchen to run upstairs to check on something. In my absence, Jennifer will reopen the conversation without knowing that I have temporarily stepped away. When I return to the kitchen I am normally asked the question: "Where did you go? We were in the middle of a conversation."

I think we need an intercom.
