Happy Easter

Hello all,

I have not been very good about writing in my blog this month. Wow, half of the month is gone already. Today is Easter Sunday and the kids are really excited to hunt some Easter eggs at Grandma Diane's later today. This morning the kids woke up to Easter baskets filled with candy and toys. For breakfast, Jennifer made blueberry muffins for the family. It was a nice surprise. We all ate our muffins at the breakfast bar and enjoyed the morning before church.

I dropped Jennifer off at 9:30 for her Sunday school class and then went to Diane's to wait until the 11:00 service. Ali and Zac sure did enjoy telling Grandma all about there presents.

It was soon time to get back into the car and head to Church. Ali and Zac went down to their class room while Jen, Diane and I went to service. It was a packed house even for the late service. Rev. Kendall led a nice service. I really enjoyed it today.

After service we all went back to Diane's house for lunch. Pot Roast was the main entree and it was well worth the wait. Oh how I Holiday meals! I never leave hungry.

After an egg hunt in Diane's backyard, Zac and I played baseball for a while. Let me tell you, my son can hit. I taped him hitting the ball with my camera phone. While I was watching the screen, he hit me in the head with a ball. He laughed and so did I. I'm glad it was only a plastic ball this time. In a few years, it will be a real baseball.

Later tonight, Ali and I put clothes into boxes and pushed them into the storage area in the attic. The closets look a lot cleaner without the bulky sweaters taking up all the shelf space. My shelves are now empty except for a few t-shirts. I do love the summer months.

OK, I should finish this up and get to bed.

Good night,

-Andy
