No school again

Hello all,

Well, we did not get the 12 inches of snow they were predicting; however, Ali's school and Zac's preschool have been cancelled for the day. I am home again with them. They are both still sleeping upstairs now. I am trying to get as much work done as possible while they sleep.

Last night, Ali and I put the Christmas Tree up in the office. She was a great helper. She helped hang the lower branches as well as fluff each branch. She sure did have a good time. While I was working on the higher levels of the tree, Ali disappeared for a second and then returned with the step ladder from the laundry room. She was back in business. She could reach as high as I was working. :)

Once the tree was assembled, we started to put on the lights. Ali really didn't get into this very much. She tried, but it was mostly a dad activity. When I finished, Ali went to get Jen and show her our good work. I think we made the family proud.

I also put out the white reindeer in the front yard. I'll put out the Christmas tree and light nets later today. Oh, Christmas is just around the corner!
