What a night

Well, in time I will reflect on the event of yesterday and smile. As the day started, my oldest, Ali, was not being herself. She was acting lethargic. She didn't want to eat breakfast or have anything to drink. After Jen dropped her off at day care with Zac, she promptly found someplace where she could lay down and sleep. Jen called me at 9:00 saying that Ali was running a fever of 101 and had an appointment at Gashland Clinic at 10:30.

I left work to take Ali to see our family's doctor. She has a sinus infection. When given a choice of what form the medication should come in, liquid or chewable tablet, I chose tablet. Ali had been taking a chewable vitamin as well as a chewable allergy medication for six months now. Hmmmm... I should have chosen the syrup. Ali would not chew it up. She finally took her medication when I put it in some peanut butter.
By this time, it was time for her to take a nap.

Jennifer and Zac arrived home after 5:30. Ali would not eat much for dinner. All that stuff running down her throat has taken away her appetite. I am staying home with Ali again today to watch her. She cannot go to daycare until Monday now. I hope her appetite returns and she starts to feel better.
