Royals game was fun!!

So tonight we ventured back out to the ballpark!  Zachary was a little sleepy so he decided that a nap was in his best interest for the first three innings!  Boy, did he miss some good stuff!  The game started off by Shannon Stewart hitting a home run on the second pitch.  We all thought, here we go again!  Thankfully David DeJesus made up for it by hitting a lead off home run in the bottom half of the inning!  That started an 11 run route by the Royals!  We saw a grand slam (thanks to Dee Brown), a two run homer (thanks to Desi Relaford) and then of course the single shot by David!  What a great night to be a Royals fan!  Heck - that's three in a row - talk of winning the Central is fresh in the air (not really!)

After the game we got our traditional Friday night fireworks.  It was amazing.  They had about a 15 minute display that received many an oooohhh and aaaahhhh.  Ali continued clapping and saying "look how beautiful" at all the appropriate times.  Zachary and dad sat and watched with big smiles on their faces as well!

After the game the whole family was a little tuckered out!  We all came home and it was minutes before we were all passed out - Ali in her bed, mom in her bed and dad and Zac snuggled up in Zac's bed!  The perfect Scott family evening if you asked me!

Love,
Jennifer
