My sister's wedding

Hello all,

Today my sister Nicole got getting married. Yes, today was her day. The kids were REALLY excited to be a part of the wedding. We are up in Omaha staying at the Comfort Inn. We got up this morning and went swimming. The kids liked to splash around. Zac was very brave. He will jump into my arms from the side of the pool. Absolutely fearless.

I took the kids to Wal-Mart for black socks for Zac. We somehow left KC without his. All we could find was navy blue. We made it back to the hotel in time to pick up Jen and then we were off to the church for pictures. Zac looked great in his little tux.

Pictures were great. The kids really did well for being all dressed up. Zac was ready to smile for whomever wanted to take his picture. Ah, not bashful at all. As for Ali, she was happy just wearing her pretty new dress that Nana had sewn for her. Both the kids looked great. Jen, knowing her husband was going to looking especially handsome, was wearing a new outfit she purchased for the occasion. She looked great. She finds a new way to make me smile every day. Thanks bear...

As for the wedding, guests started to arrive and the church filled quickly. I escorted may friends that I have known for years and took a minute to exchange pleasantries. It was good to see Bill Ficter and Lois Aistrope again. It had been a long time.

When it was time for Ali and Zac to walk down the isle, they did great. Zac stopped to pose for a picture once, but was motivated to find mom at the front of the church shortly.

Nic looked fantastic! I have never seen my sister look so beautiful. Forgive me for not describing the dress in "dress" terms, but it was a silver white gown that really made her glow. It was the perfect dress for her. :)

Before I knew it, it was time to get ready for the reception! Mom and I stripped Zac out of this tux. The boy needed to get some fresh air. He was toasty. Ali on the other hand was really enjoying being a princess. She did not want to change clothes at all.

On our way to the reception, we stopped at Sonic to get a cherry lime aid and a refill of milk and OJ for the kids. Next stop was the reception. We sat with my cousins Arrow, Catherine, and David. It had been a while since we had been able to see each other, so we talked a lot throughout the evening.

The night went by quickly. Ali danced for most of the night. Her feet must be killing her. My only hope is that she recovers quickly. I don't want to carry her tomorrow!

Better close and get to bed. Good night from Omaha!

-Andy

PS.I am going to post the pictures in the photo albumn!
