IBM update

Hello all,

I just got out of a meeting with my manager. My application is "officially" targeted to be outsourced to IBM. I will find out the absolute list by the middle of August. If I am on that list, I will have one month to decide if I am going to become an IBM employee.

As you know, I started looking for positions a week ago. Now, I am forced to accept that I may not be with Sprint very much longer. My wife is very supportive of me and the decision I will be making. I do not want to screw this up.

My manager told us all that this will be a good move for us all. IBM will give me a better opportunity than being with Sprint. I trust her. She has been very fair. She made it a point to rescue me from the terrible application I was on for two years. That meant a lot to me.

Well, I guess I should get back to work. Or at least try to get back to work. Where ever I go next, I will not work for a telephone company...
