First day of VBS...

Hello all...

What a day! Tonight was the first day of Vacation Bible School at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. It was great to see all of the kids show up, but it sure is a lot of work. Jen is a group leader and I am leading a bible exploration unit. Basically what I am doing is a small workshop that runs for 10 - 15 minutes and then has questions afterwards. It is fun to hear the kids questions. I was dressed like an angel last night. I should have taken a picture to caputure the momement....

After VBS, the family had to run to Wal-Mart to return my pedometer. For some reason it was counting two steps for every step I took. It would have been great to look at the total, but it would not have changed the fact that I was not walking as much as needed.

So, from here on Jen and I are going to post the number of steps we take every day... Or at least try to post them every day.

Better get to bed
