Weekend Fun

Wouldn't you know it, the Kansas City Royals had to lose four straight! At least my father was happy! For a Father's Day present, Jen and I took my parents to the Royals / Cardinals game Saturday night. The Royals lost 1-3 in 10 innings. Booo!!! At least my dad was able to see a good game. The last time he saw the Cardinals in person it was 1962.

It was a lot of fun. Jen and I are looking forward to doing this more often. For the KC Sports scene, we can always look forward to the Chiefs this fall. Maybe they can have a winning season. If not, it will not be long before Spring training starts again for the good old Royals.
