Today was Zac's first trip to school for Kindergarten Roundup. He had a great time and enjoyed his time. I think Zac is going to have a lot of fun at school next year.

I think I'm ready for the move. I have purged many of the files that I have been holding on to for years and years. I guess they are not needed any longer or I just don't care to carry them for another hop.

I began packing in earnest today for my move to 9350. When I first moved from 903 Holmes I had 12 boxes. Now after eight moves, I have five boxes and most of that is office equipment and supplies. I have donated many of my books to the team library. Many of my files have been purged. I think I'll be ready by Friday.

A full day of calls for Datamaster and Network Address Book filled my day today. Zac slept on the couch and watched TV. I would not let him go and play downstairs since he was ill. He did not appreciate it very much.

Jen's Van is Fixed

Hello all,

Well, at least it is fixed. Today Jen's van received a new fuel filter and a new brake pads. The fuel filter had a crack in it caused by road debris. You just have to love KC roads. They are as smooth... what am I saying. They are terrible.

This afternoon I mailed Jen and my KC earning taxes. Unimed did not take out the 1% earning tax from her paycheck this year. I wish they could figure that out. Oh well, it is only 1%. Maybe this year will be better.

Pancake Monday

This evening the kids and I had pancakes for dinner. It is a normal meal on Monday nights as mom goes to bowling. Ali helped me flip the pancakes and Zac set the table. I love you two kids! You are the best.

It was another cold day at the Scott house today. I installed a new mailbox today to replace original that was knocked down by the kids sliding around on the streets back in January. It is a nice mailbox on a cedar post. I hope it lasts a long time. I'll keep you all posted.

Winter has not yet let go of KC. Today was COLD. It snowed on the 11th of April! Can you believe it? Ali wanted to where her Spring jacket to school today, but I would not let her out of the house with it. I let her know that Spring was going to be a little late this year. Happy Birthday David!

Happy Birthday David! You are another year older today. Tonight Jennifer, Diane, Ali, Zac and I met David and Susie for dinner in Overland Park. It was nice to see them both again and catch up on what has happened since Easter Sunday.

Great night with friends

Hello all,

Tonight Jennifer and I had some friends over for a Tastefully Simple party. It is a food party where the host has sent us recipes to fix and then sample with our friends. It was a lot of fun and the food was excellent. The party took a little over and hour and everyone enjoyed all of the munches. After the party was over, it was time to head into the living room and watch the Royals extend their winning streak and advance to 6-2 for the year! I know it is early, but it is fun to watching winning baseball in KC.

Ankle is OK

A quick note about my ankle. I do not need to have surgery anymore. My ankle has healed to 70% in three months. I have four weeks of physical therapy to complete and then I'll be back on the right track.

Just a quick note while I am at home today with Zac. I am not working from home toady, but instead taking paid vacation today. You could say I have had a disagreement with some of the people at my office. But it will be better once Zac is feeling better.

I wish I had good news to report. Zac is still running a fever and needs to be at home instead of school. I know he is heartbroken about it. My new supervisor is not pleased that I am not at work. I'll keep you posted on that front.
