Tonight was a lot of fun at 24 Hour Fitness. It has been a while since I exercised regularly and I am looking forward to getting back into shape.

Better day today

Hello all,

Alexandria's face is looking better this morning. The swelling started to subside and she is smiled once for me today. I can't wait to see what she looks like by Friday.

Abscessed tooth

Hello all,

Today I had to rush my daughter to the pediatric dentist. The dental work she had performed last year has caused her front teeth to become infected. She is on antibiotics now and her front teeth will need to be pulled next week. I feel horrible. She has been saying her teeth hurt, but I thought that she was trying to get out of eating what me fixed for dinner. This parenting thing is a tough job.

Back to work

Hello all,

It is a gorgeous day outside today. I took my noon walk with Chris and Steve and sure enjoyed the cool day today. It is much better than the 90 degree heat we had last week!

Happy Easter

Hello all,

I have not been very good about writing in my blog this month. Wow, half of the month is gone already. Today is Easter Sunday and the kids are really excited to hunt some Easter eggs at Grandma Diane's later today. This morning the kids woke up to Easter baskets filled with candy and toys. For breakfast, Jennifer made blueberry muffins for the family. It was a nice surprise. We all ate our muffins at the breakfast bar and enjoyed the morning before church.

I dropped Jennifer off at 9:30 for her Sunday school class and then went to Diane's to wait until the 11:00 service. Ali and Zac sure did enjoy telling Grandma all about there presents.

It was soon time to get back into the car and head to Church. Ali and Zac went down to their class room while Jen, Diane and I went to service. It was a packed house even for the late service. Rev. Kendall led a nice service. I really enjoyed it today.

After service we all went back to Diane's house for lunch. Pot Roast was the main entree and it was well worth the wait. Oh how I Holiday meals! I never leave hungry.

After an egg hunt in Diane's backyard, Zac and I played baseball for a while. Let me tell you, my son can hit. I taped him hitting the ball with my camera phone. While I was watching the screen, he hit me in the head with a ball. He laughed and so did I. I'm glad it was only a plastic ball this time. In a few years, it will be a real baseball.

Later tonight, Ali and I put clothes into boxes and pushed them into the storage area in the attic. The closets look a lot cleaner without the bulky sweaters taking up all the shelf space. My shelves are now empty except for a few t-shirts. I do love the summer months.

OK, I should finish this up and get to bed.

Good night,

-Andy

Ali's Soccer Practice

Hello all,

Just a quick note on Ali's soccer practice. Last night she again had fun playing soccer and kicking the ball. If everyone on the field would get out of her way, she would kick the ball. But as long as there is a crowd of people around the ball, Ali will stay out of the fray. Oh, my daughter is never this nice to her brother!

Have a great day!

Should have stayed in bed today

Hello all,

Have you ever had a day where you thought it would be better to stay in bed and skip work for the day? I did. Today I got to work late. We had a SEV 1 and a SEV 2 today and our team had to accept responsibility for both. Neither was our fault. Some days it just doesn't pay to get out of bed.
